Information for Visa Requirements

We strongly recommend that you start your visa application process as soon as possible. All nationals and citizens from countries that do not have visa exemption arrangement with Japan (see HERE for a list of countries, Website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan) are required to obtain a visa to enter Japan. For more information on Japanese Visas, please read "general information for visiting Japan"(Website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan).

Pay the required registration fee, attach the scanned payment receipt (pdf file, or attach the registration and payment confirmation email) in an email and send together with the other required information to:

Guide for Chinese Nationals

Since it may take a few weeks for attendees from countries such as China to receive their visas, please complete your conference registration including the payment at your earliest convenience and then immediately submit a request (please fill in and send us the [VisaRequestForm.docx]) for necessary materials for your visa application. We can issue the following documents:

1. letter of reason for invitation (招へい理由書)
2. letter of guarantee (身元保証書)
3. schedule of stay in Japan(滞在予定表)
4. certificate of employment of the general chair (在職証明書)
5. list of visa applicants (申請人名簿)*配偶者や親族が来る場合のみこれを付け加える
